Used for engineers’ inspections, VIPs, meetings and district managers’ tours of network, these classic LMS vehicles had seated saloons at each end with large windows to give a good all round view of the line. Between the saloons was a toilet and a small kitchen for preparing meals. (Information provided by Heljan) |
