Hi, I am Chris and I am here to keep you informed about news about the website, model railway news items and anything not covered by our two resident experts.
I do not profess to be an ‘expert’ modeller, however I spent most of childhood building Airfix kits and various other plastic kits that were given to me for birthdays and Christmas. I am the cliché male who spent his childhood and teens dreaming on of having a large model railway layout, Now having children of my own and disposable income (!) I am finally able to afford to build my dream.
Whilst I don’t have the vast swathes of knowledge that Bill & Brian have, I did spend a short time working as a conductor guard for South West Trains in the late 90′s, a role that I had to unfortunately end due to ill health.
Having experience in running businesses for nearly 7 years now I have decided to turn my hand to a retail site aimed at the model railways community offering good customer service and good value for money.
