Hornby Model Railways The opening of the first high speed rail link section between London and the Channel Tunnel is celebrated with the introduction of this six vehicle pack which contains not only two passenger saloons but also the two divisible saloons that mark the centre of the train.
Please Note: This train is not suitable to run on first (inner) radius curves and the pantographs are non-functional

Comments:
Firstly, we wanted an up to date unit to allow my son to further his interest in model railways. This Eurostar set with its sleek design and reliable motor was just what was needed. Reliability and ease of use being a good factor. There are a lot of products available to further detail this stunning model.
Downsides, well to run a realistic 21 car set you need a lot of room and a big, big budget, I've found that it doesn't like sharp curves.
Unusually for Hornby we have had a few of the connecting bogies break, although this is probably due to it being used by a heavy handed child. Replacements are cheap and can be purchased from several suppliers. (As can additional lighting kits).
Overall it's a good model but not one of Hornby's best efforts.
