Under fives go free | This popular festival returns for its seventh year and is presented by STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway in association with British Railway Modelling.
This year's Swindon Railway Festival celebrates the return of "Evening Star" the last steam locomotive to be made for British Rail at the famous Swindon Works in March 1960. Evening Star No. 92220 will take centre stage in the Museum's stunning Station Platform and the weekend celebration brings together some of the UK's biggest and best GWR model railway layouts, high street brand leaders Hornby and Bachmann, steam demostration area with traction engines and other steam machines and lots more to entertain the family! | | | | [Add an Event] |
